Tom Cruise’s W spread shot by Mario Sorrenti has just been released. The photo-shoot portrays Cruise as an aging rock god, a character he is playing for his upcoming role in the big screen adaptation of Rock of Ages, getting wasted in a dingy hotel room with groupies portrayed by models Abbey Lee Kershaw and Edita Vilkeviciute, each looking equally wasted and competing with Cruise for most nip-slips per shot.
Regarding the nearly 50-year-old Cruise’s Rock of Ages get-up, W‘s Lynn Herschberg writes, “If he didn’t approach the role with sincerity and intensity, Cruise could easily look like a joke.” Guess we’ll have to see the movie to judge Cruises’s believability for ourselves. And that nipple tattoo? Thank god it’s temporary.

Ford has spent a lot of time talking down the new digital news domain, telling US Vogue, “I do not understand everyone’s need to see everything online the day after the show”.
