Guys and Gals here are three photographs and the three best captions for these photographs will win a Designer T-shirt (International Labels) each. Guess it is a good enough incentive to let your imagination run wild. The contest is open for a week starting today so let those catch captions roll in.
Here is a picture of Rohit Bal aka Gudda with someone at a party:
This one is of Celina Jaitley:
The final photograph is that of a woman enjoying her ice-cream:

I have had heard that Lalit Tehlan, the model and Rohit Bal’s live-in boyfriend was seeing a firang girl. But I was utterly surprised to discover that Lalit is already married to this girl – Manizhe Karimi, who too is a model, based out of Pune. She was the ‘Fresh New Faces’ at the just concluded WIFW A/W 2011. Rohit Bal was part of the Jury that selected ‘New Faces’ but I don’t see any favouritism here because the Jury was rather diverse.
Lalit got married to Manizhe on the 18th of February 2011 at the Arya Samaj Mandir in Saket, New Delhi. He turned out to be a total Chupa Rustam! Look at the Marriage Certificate below.
Now wonder who Rohit Bal a.k.a Gudda is seeing???
Post the attempted split of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) a couple of years back when a splinter group broke-off to start the Delhi Fashion Week, it is election time again in FDCI. On February 28th, the Election for the new Board will take-place and from what I heard at the Diesel Party at LAP on Thursday (3rd February) night, the big-daddies of Indian Fashion are lobbying hard to secure a place in the Board. It’s like the good-ole days of FDCI!
Besides Sunil Sethi, the President of FDCI and TJ Singh, a nominated Board Member, both of whom were reinstated in July 2010 for another term of 2 years, the entire Board will have newly elected members. At the last election there was hardly any contest but this time the all the biggies are gunning for a seat on the Board. FDCI might increase the strength to as many as 16 Board Members.
If you wondering why any designer worth his name wants to be on the Board, well then let me tell you that being on the Board has huge perks. I am very keen to see if Rohit Bal, who is now on the Board of Governors of Lakme Fashion Week will also make it to the FDCI Board. I am also keen to see if the biggies dominated FDCI Board would take care of the interests of the new and upcoming designers or be selfish to strengthen their own positions. But whatever happens, the days leading up to February 28 are sure gonna be exciting ones!
PS: James Ferreira, the veteran designer is pretty upset that the organisors of the Lakme Fashion Week asked for a big amount of Rs. 8 Lakhs from him to let him do the ‘Off-Site’ Show at the forthcoming LFW in March in Mumbai.
Am so happy to know that Rohit Bal occasionally reads my Blog.
And unlike most, Gudda neither submits ‘Anonymous’ comments, nor uses any ‘Pseudonyms’. He is outright and bold and comments from the heart.
Here is Rohit Bal’s unedited comment on the snippet ‘Karan Johar’s latest Toy Boy | Fashion Scandal’ http://fashionscandal.com/?p=908
