I am sure you must have spotted eunuchs soliciting on the streets of Delhi. Earlier they were spotted at Dhaula Kuan, in the dark kerbs near the AIIMS flyover or at the Moolchand crossing. These garishly dressed eunuchs (better known here as Hijras) usually catered to desperate auto-rickshaw drivers, truckers and wayward perverts. But recently I saw them at the Lodhi Road, bang opposite the luxury hotel – Aman. Just few days back to my utter surprise I saw a guy in a BMW stopping and negotiating with a eunuch out soliciting. No the guy in the Beamer wasn’t a driver but the owner as I managed to have a good look while passing by. Now I understand why eunuchs are lurking in the streets of posh Delhi.
Why would a well-off despo pick-up a street side eunuch hooker? These hijras are not the glamourous ‘ladyboy’ kinds you get to see in Bangkok and Pattaya. They were simply dirty.
But then there are no dearth of kinky, horny bastards out there. Sex with a transvestite hooker??? What’s happening folks?

The Van Heusen India Mens Week (VHIMW) 2011 ended with the Grand Finale Show by Karan Johar + Varun Bahl and guess what the BEST part of the show was? Well it was Katrina Kaif’s Derriere Extraordinaire! Kat strutted down the ramp in a short sequined jacket and a pair of fitted trousers and her pert buttock literally made jaws drop in awe. Women too ogled but with envy.

Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif are in Delhi to promote Meri Brother Ki Dulhan. I also got to know that Karan Johar was strategising in what order Katrina, Imran, Varun and he should walk down the ramp so that the Bollywood stars get the prominence for the benefit of their forthcoming movie. Did Karan Johar forget that it was a fashion show and not a Movie Promotion? Bollywood Walas sure have their own weird logic!
Desperate to give his show Koffee with Karan- Season 4 an international flavour, Karan Johar has roped in the trashy American ‘Good-for-Nothin’ Socialite, Paris Hilton for his show. Wonder why Paris? Couldn’t he get anyone better or is it that Karan Johar is enamoured by Paris Hilton? On the other hand Simi Garewal managed to interview the biggest pop star – Lady Gaga!
Anyone who’s seen Paris Hilton on any late night chat shows in the US knows she can’t string two interesting words together to save her life, and does little but giggle in a breathy teenager’s voice. What could have possibly made K Jo think that she was a good choice of guest on his show? If this were Meryl Streep or Matt Damon coming to India or even pop-star Akon then Karan Johar would have been able to claim a massive scoop in getting an interview with them. Why is he rolling out the red carpet for someone as boring as Paris Hilton? He’s gone nuts!
When I posted way back in mid-November 2010 about Karan Johar’s latest toy-boy, Delhi model turned film aspirant Siddharth Malhotra, there was a lot of hue and cry from K Jo’s camp and friends. In fact a TV Channel quoted Johar in December 2010, “I am not making any movie with newcomers any time soon. All that gossip is rubbish.’ Oh yeah?
But then these full page advertisements screamed out loud that I was right. The Shahrukh Khan produced and Karan Johar directed movie – Student of The Year has Siddharth Malhotra (also the lead model at Karan Johar + Varun Bahl fashion shows), Varun Dhawan (David Dhawan’s son) and Alia Bhatt (Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter).Siddharth Malhotra is a good-looking guy and maybe he’ll turn out to be a great actor. Being Karan Johar’s pet can get you places. Hope K Jo gets him to his parlour for some Koffee and gup-shup!
Karan Johar, the jack of all trades and Rohit Bal aka Gudda continued their tiff at the HDIL Couture Week. I believe the tiff started at the launch of The Collective in Delhi some weeks back where K Jo felt Gudda spoilt his skit. By the way, whoever saw the skit wondered what was it all about. Later at The Collective launch Manish Malhotra joined Karan Johar in bitching about Gudda and blaming him for spoiling the show. Gudda was apparently a bit late and a little tipsy.
At HDIL Couture Week, Gudda lambasted the Bollywood(isation) of the Couture Week. I totally agree with Gudda on this. HDIL was nothing but Bollywood Tamasha. K Jo +Varum Bahl’s show had Big B, SRK and Hrithik Roshan on the ramp and Mumbai went gaga about it. Jitesh Pillai of Filmfare tweeted 12hours before the show that K Jo’s going to recreate K3G on the ramp so all that drama of pulling out SRK from his seat to the ramp and all that bonhomie between Big B and SRK was pre-planned but was presented as something impromptu. In all this brouhaha, everybody forgot the clothes, which were rather nice, thanks to Varun Bahl’s creative genius.
Gudda however gave it back in his own way to KJo on his TV show by sticking to his guns that fashion shouldn’t be mixed with Bollywood Bling.
