Millions have already twitted about the hate monger, Laura Loomer getting a platform at India Today Conclave. It’s disgusting. There are hundreds of opinion makers whose ideology can be far right or far left and they can respectfully be invited to a conclave. Laura didn’t fit into that bill. She is ranter, racist, Islamophobic and an India bater. She is no intellectual. She is a bimbo who with her vitriolic tweets got President Donald Trump’s attention.
Wonder why the IndiaToday Group invited her to the conclave. The marketing team must have played the ‘rage bait’ angle to get her the invite, fully loaded with business class tickets and five-star hotel stay for her and her fiancé. What is more surprising, The Ministry of External Affairs giving clearance to such a vitriolic India-baiter to travel to India. Was it just because she carried a letter from President Donald Trump? Have we stooped down so low to appease trump that an India hater gets a red-carpet treatment?
I did not watch the India Today Conclave because of Laura Loomer. I hated it now because of her. We Indians don’t have water to wash our arse? Water flows through our arse? Laura tweeted these words.
Laura is an Islamophobe and in the conclave she expressed her desire to go to Taj Mahal with her fiancé and cherish a romantic moment. What kind of hypocrisy is this?
I know every media channel needs take make moolah. Conclaves are essential marketing tool for every television channel. But do we need Laura Loomer to make a few extra bucks?
