Two days back the Income Tax sleuths raided the premises of Amira Foods, the largest family owned Rice Exporting company in the country owned by Karan Chanana and his family.
Amira Foods has had stupendous growth in the past few years, as high as 20% annual growth. Karan has diversified in to Sugar, Edible and Palmolein Oil exports too.
My sources in IT Department said that the raids had been successful!
