Times are great for designer Rahul Mishra, specially after he bagged the International Woolmark Prize 2013. Post that Rahul has become a darling of the Western fashion Press. On Monday Colin McDowell hosted a power breakfast with Britain’s top 25 fashion editors in Rahul’s honour at Harvey Nichols, London.
But another big news that the extremely talented designer – Rahul Mishra shared and that is that he is participating in the forthcoming Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015. His debut show in Paris Fashion Week is scheduled for the 1st of October, 2014. With that Rahul joins the league of other top designers who showed at PFW – Manish Arora, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Anamika Khanna.

In fact the invitation to show at the Paris Fashion Week came few years back when the President of the apex body of French Fashion – Chambre de la Syndicale, Didier Grumbach (who in fact retired as the President on the 1st of September) saw Rahul Mishra’s show at the India Fashion Week in Delhi. In fact Grumbach was so impressed by Rahul Mishra’s work that he extended him the invitation to also showcase at the Paris Haute Couture Week.
Better late than never Rahul and I am sure you will make a big impact in the forthcoming Paris Fashion Week S/S 2015!
