The Airtel Indian Formula One Grand Prix 2012 kicked off on Friday with a practice session by the teams. Team Redbull’s Sebastian Vettel is the hot favourite as he took Pole-Position on Friday and Saturday. But it is the F-1 after parties that are the talk-about-town.
Saturday night the turn-out at the after-party at LAP had more Bollywood-walas in attendance. There was Sonali Bendre who looked gorgeous, bootilacious Neha Dhupia, the rarely spotted Marathi beauty, Gayatri Joshi, Dino Morea (he too has taken to the fuzzy look), Zayed Khan and the not-so-bloated Vikram Chatwal with some Arushi Virani. Cricketers like Yuvraj, Virat Kohli and Ashish Nehra too had a ball.
Friday night all roads led to LAP where the F-1 after party went on till wee-hours. Arjun Rampal, the owner of LAP did ensure Bollywood glitter at this party and we saw Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan, Arjun Kapoor, Abhishek ‘Gattu’ Kapoor, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Sikander Kher and Anil Thadani. Delhi schmoozers were their too – Ayesha Thapar, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Manav Gangwani and many more. Mehr Rampal looked a bit off. Wonder why???
Previous night, Johnnie Walker that has been partnering with Mercedes hosted a ‘Jet Black’ party at B-Bar where Mandira Bedi, Mukul Dev, VJ Ramona, designers Arjun Khanna and Raghavendra Rathore added glam to the night.
