Swapnil Shinde withdraws from Lakme Fashion Week

The lineup of fashion designers showcasing at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Summer-Resort 2011 got further diluted with the sudden pullout of designer Swapnil Shinde. The designer was slotted for the 5:30 pm show on Sunday, the 13th of March 2011 along with Siddharth Tytler. Swapnil Shinde states personal reasons behind pulling out but that hardly seems to be the case.

Now IMG, the organisers of Lakme Fashion Week will let Siddharth Tytler have a solo show.

Rohit Bal inducted in Lakme Fashion Week’s Advisory Panel

Lakme Fashion Week has inducted Rohit Bal in their Advisory Panel. Post Wendell Rodricks exit from the LFW panel, a slot was vacant and Lakme filled up ably with Gudda. Does that mean we will get to see Bal doing the Grand Finale at the forthcoming Lakme Fashion Week? Most likely, I would say!
