Martin Margiela showcased his Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2013 collection on his signature ‘Masked’ models and once again the look was typically dichotomous – romantic yet dark!
Beaded and crystal encrusted masks that looked like a bouquet of flowers were definitely romantic and was in line with Margiela’s floral line-up. He paired cuffed-up jeans with knee-high boots (sans blouses) with satin and floral embroidered drapes. Margiela also used cropped beaded cloaks that extended as a part of the mask.
Glazed slouchy leather pants with leather trench, sheer A-line coat-dresses with intricate 3-D floral work on the hem and some jeweled long coat-dresses comprised Martin Margiela’s edgy collection.
