It’s the second season of the combined FDCI+ Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022. The Fashion Design Council calls it the spring/summer 2022 showcase while Lakme Fashion Week calls it Winter/Festive 2021. FDCI will showcase digitally through fashion films produced by designers while LFW will have marquee shows live on the runway. Tarun Tahiliani and Rajesh Pratap Singh for Satyapaul are two such shows.
FDCI is still following the digital route as COVID protocol demands so. In the previous season of ‘Phygital’ showcasing, LFW had the physical runway shows at their drive-in-theatre at the Jio World Centre, with fashionistas watching the show from the comfort of their luxury sedans. 
This time besides the runway shows, the Lakme Fashion Week will host the after-party at the Jio World Plaza that is touted as the soft-launch of India’s most luxurious retail avenue. The FDCI +LFW fashion week is scheduled for 5th to10th, October 2021.
