Moment the news was out Twitteratis got into speculation that she is once again going through severe depression. The trolls got into commenting that she overdosed on Molly or Mail. Some fanned the pregnancy rumours.
If that wasn’t enough, a self-proclaimed film critic commented on Twitter that all’s not well between Ranveer and Deepika. Mainstream news media too got on to this news item. They fanned the news and in a secondary manner stated that it’s a rumour. The news media gave this trivia so much oxygen that Ranveer Singh kinda got on to Instagram and put a sort of counter to it by stating that Deepika is the best thing that has happened to him.
The germination of this baseless rumour is from a picture (Airport Look) of Deepika Padukone where the wedding ring is not visible. Is it mandatory to wear a wedding ring if one is married? Can’t one take it off while travelling? Well such is the world of Instagram and Twitter and the Paparazzi that nonsense is made sense of by the mainstream media.
