Pop Diva – Madonna celebrated her 56th birthday in Cannes over the weekend with her friends from the fashion and music world. Mert Alas, Marcus Piggott, Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy, and Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared all made the trip to France to take part in the wild bash.
But the lady who hogged the lime-light at Madonna’s birthday bash was none other than the supermodel, Kate Moss. Wearing a very Madonna-esque chain-lined leotard and cap, Kate Moss was in a rare form. She had a blast at Riccardo Tisci’s birthday bash in Ibiza a month back and now it seem that if Kate Moss isn’t on your guest-list and not having a good time, the party isn’t really happening. Moss has become ‘The Benchmark’ for happening parties.
The birthday girl, Madge however reserved the title of ‘Queen’ for herself as captioned in a snap by Mert and Marcus of Kate and Modonna as ‘The Princess and The Queen’. Madonna flaunted her birthday gift – an Amethyst and Citrine ring by Neil Lane.
